We zijn nu een paar maanden ‘onderweg’ met de deelfietsen op RichPort, dus hoog tijd om de balans op te maken. Voor de mensen die nog niet op de hoogte waren nog even een samenvatting:
Vanaf 1 juli 2022 loopt er op RichPort een pilot met 20 deelfietsen van FlickBike. Deze fietsen treft u aan bij de bushalte aan de kruising Kruisweg / Fokkerweg. Om gebruik te maken van deze gratis deelfietsen, download u de FlickBike app en maakt u een account aan met uw zakelijke e-mailadres. Meer informatie en exacte instructies vindt u hier.
Nu, ruim anderhalve maand later, delen wij graag de eerste bevindingen, want uiteindelijk bevinden wij ons nog in de proeffase van dit project.
Van 1 juli tot en met 10 augustus:
• zijn er 136 ritten geregistreerd,
• welke zijn gemaakt door 54 unieke gebruikers,
• waarvan 40% een privé account heeft gebruikt
• en KLM de grootste zakelijke gebruikersgroep is.
Deze getallen leren ons dat er nog voldoende ruimte is voor groei (oftewel bekendheid van deze service) en dat veel mensen nog niet weten dat zij met een zakelijk e-mailadres gratis gebruik kunnen maken van de fietsen. Wat we ook zien is dat er voldoende succes geboekt is om de proef door te zetten!

We've been 'underway' for a few months now with the shared bikes at RichPort, so high time to take stock. Here's a summary for those who weren't aware:
From 1 July 2022, a pilot with 20 shared bicycles from FlickBike will be running at RichPort. These bicycles can be found at the bus stop at the Kruisweg/Fokkerweg intersection. To use these free shared bikes, download the FlickBike app and create an account with your business email address. More information and exact instructions can be found here.
Now, more than a month and a half later, we are happy to share the first findings, because ultimately we are still in the pilot phase of this project.
From July 1 to August 10:
• 136 rides have been registered,
• which are created by 54 unique users,
• 40% of whom have used a private account
• and KLM is the largest business user group.
These numbers teach us that there is still plenty of room for growth (i.e. awareness of this service) and that many people are not yet aware that they can use the bicycles for free with a business email address. What we also see is that sufficient success has been achieved to continue the trial!
